  • A note from Tufan to his friend Buddy....

    Dear Buddy,

Most of my fence is metal.   And yes, I've tried chewing on it but I just can't seem to chew through.   The people say something about it being strong enough to hold cattle.  I've seen some of those critters and figured there's no way I can chew through something that'll hold those lumbering beasts.

Digging...I've been doing that too.    The woman was complaining last week because she was walking across the yard and kept stepping into holes.  As if it's a bad thing to have no less than 20 holes scattered here and there around the yard!

The people have been giving me all kinds of toys and things to chew on.   I'm managing to destroy a doggie ball in less than a day.   The big booda knot things take me a while to shred.   The woman even brought home a Jolly Ball, saying something about it being for horses and something else about me resembling a horse.    Anyway, I chewed the handle off that...took me a few days but I did it.  Now I've got a nice ball to chase around.

Those people have been afraid to say anything for fear of jinxing themselves, but they may actually have fixed that fence so I can't escape.  I've now been contained  since Tuesday morning.   I'm sure to let them know how unhappy I am about it....I do lots of whining and howling whenever they walk around outside.   The woman came out to play for a while, but she had  a yummy basted rawhide in her coat pocket.....rawhide chewing outranks loving and playing any day of the week LOL

  • Dear Tufan,

Isn't Metal tasty? I really like those aluminum cans my Mom likes to put in the trash. Why she puts them in there, I don't know. They are perfectly FINE. The trash is a lot of fun. You should check yours out sometime. You won't BELIEVE the stuff you can find in there!

I have a HUGE rope toy that I've been working on chewing to shreds for a while now. It's taking me longer tho, because all of the sudden, my nice sharp teeth started falling out! I'm getting bigger teeth now, but they haven't grown in all the way yet, or at least that's what Dad says.

My Mom says to tell your Woman to check out http://www.drsfostersmith.com if she hasn't already. She says the Nylabones are nice and hard, kind of like chewing on a rock. That sounds great to me, because we have lots of little rocks in our yard and I really enjoy chewing them. Mom gets mad tho, she says I could swallow it.

Anyway, you might want to try and get yourself in the house today. There's some really yummy smells coming from our kitchen. I heard Mom and Dad talkign about Thanksgivering and how everyone is doing it today. I'm guessing there might be some yummy things in your house too. Maybe you can start harassing the kitty again.

    Your pal,

    Buddy

  • Hey Tufan,

My name is Elsie and I am a little Boston Terrier but I rule at my house. I've been following people around all day waiting for bits of ham and turkey to fall. I fell asleep for awhile but I don't think I missed anything. The little girls who are visiting played with me all day. They tossed toys around for me and even put my leather jacket on me and took me outside and up into the fort on the swingset. There is another dog here. Her name is Suzie and she must be pretty old because she just lays around like a fuzzy rug. No fun at all. She goes home with my grandma at night. Buddy is right about that Drs. Foster and Smith site. My folks got me a big hard ball that I love to roll around. It is so hard that I've been unable to destroy it. They have small ones at that site too. Have a great T day and try to stay in the fence. It is dangerous out there in the street.

  • LOL!  I only wish I had a dog to write you a letter. I found a Golden today that I really really want....for Peter. Yeah, that's it. Peter needs a dog.  But my mother is a horrible evil woman and said not while we're living here. Something about 4 children are enough animals to have?  I'm not sure what she meant by that.

I got your boxes today. Thanks sooo much!!!  Ainsley has been having a fashion show all day.  I love the outfits!  So does she, evidently.  She changed about 354 times.

Have I mentioned that I hate dial up?  I might have mentioned that before, but I feel strongly enough about it to reiterate it.  Grrr....

Hope you had a happy Turkey Day!
