We survived another round of storms on Sunday. What is it with stormy Sundays this spring? Thankfully we were spared the tornadoes and damaging straight-line winds.
The house is coming along nicely. Trim guys are putting in the trim around the windows. I think the crown molding will be started very soon....as in the next day or so.
The staircase is in, waiting for the stained treads and handrail to be added. The girls have had lots of fun stomping up and down it. Apparently there is a slight issue with the builder guy about the placement of the staircase (whatever....it's fine right where it is and I'm happy and that's all that matters
)
The flooring master has been hard at work yesterday afternoon and today installing the wood floor upstairs. Poor guy, someone apparently had a pretty complicated design in mind for the floor and he was having a time of it this morning. He asked me for input on a few ideas, and I asked why he was making it such a complicated pattern....make it simple and elegant, for crying out loud. Issue solved and we're both happy with doing it this way.
Carpeting was FINALLY installed in J's room this morning. She loves it and was happily bouncing and rolling around her room.
I've finally started C's room. I need to get back over there this afternoon and finish painting the walls. I did the first coat yesterday, but it definately needs a second coat. Of course, before I do that I need to move the dressers back into J's room. And clear stuff outta the hallway.

I'm so glad you didn't get hit by any more tornados. When I saw the weather for Illinois, I worried about you.
Can't wait to see interior pictures of the house!
Where do you get the energy??? I can't seem to get organized in this house.
